Krist Arcuri appointed Grand Hyatt Denver Wedding Specialist

DENVER, CO  (September, 2016) — Kimberley de Tessan, Director of Events at the award-winning Grand Hyatt Denver, announces the appointment of Krista Arcuri as Event Planning Manager/Wedding Specialist.

“This is such an important, highly specialized area,” commented de Tessan.   “We know that our clients will welcome the additional support they receive from someone dedicated to and experienced in wedding planning.  With the Pinnacle Club downtown Denver’s premier wedding venue, this brings the entire process together seamlessly for the bride and groom.”


A graduate of Colorado State University, Arcuri joined the staff of Grand Hyatt Denver in 2013 as a front office agent.   She quickly progressed through various management positions in the hotel to include Meeting Concierge, Hotel Assistant Manager and Assistant Executive Housekeeper, recently assuming her role as Event Planning Manager/Wedding Specialist.  She was recently awarded Grand Hyatt Denver’s 2015 Manager of the Year.

Grand Hyatt Denver has a variety of services that are designed to meet the needs of those planning a wedding or special event.  The hotel provides custom menus, themed desserts, Personal Preference menus that allow banquet guests a choice of entrees, a fully dedicated Kosher kitchen under the supervision of a Mashgiah and newly renovated ballrooms and event spaces in a variety of sizes.  The renowned 38th floor Pinnacle Club is windowed on all four sides, providing one of the farthest views of any event facility in the United States.  According to the US Geological Survey, its view encompasses an estimated 10,600 miles of snowcapped peaks and prairie, taking in 200 named mountains, including Pikes Peak more than 100 miles away.

Executive Chef Paul French

(Denver, CO –March, 2016)   Greg Leonard, general manager of Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center, announces the appointment of Paul French as Executive Chef.

After graduating from The Culinary Institute and honing his skills in establishments throughout New England, Paul French joined Hyatt as Sous Chef at Hyatt Regency Miami in 2003.   He has held culinary positions at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach, Hyatt Regency Atlanta and, in 2011, transferred to Hyatt Regency Austin as Executive Chef.
