Grand Hyatt Denver Completes Guest Room Renovation

(Denver, CO —May, 2013) Greg Leonard, general manager of the AAA Four Diamond Grand Hyatt Denver, announces that another phase of the $28 million redesign is now complete with the unveiling this month of 516 new guest rooms. The downtown Denver, Colorado hotel, located just one block from the 16th Street Mall, brought to its accommodations a completely new décor replete with natural materials, rich textures and warm modern furnishings, providing a comfortable and welcoming feel to the residential-style accommodations.

The design takes its cue from the hotel’s vibrant location at the foothills of the Colorado Rockies. The color palate calls to mind the golden hues of the Aspen trees and the cool blue of the High Plains sky. Artwork reflecting the indigenous spirit, stylish leather accents, carpet patterns reminiscent of the local rock strata and tree-branch inspired lamp reinforce the concept. Each spacious accommodation, one of the largest in the region, comes complete with the innovative technology, such as energy-efficient lighting that includes guest movement sensors that automatically beam streams of light along the floor. Temperature control panels located at both the entry and bedside allow guests to conveniently customize the mood. Wireless high-speed internet, ergonomic seating and well-lit work stations are a staple.

Greg Leonard said, “This year marks the hotel’s 25th anniversary and there is no better way to celebrate than with a new look and feel for this industry leading property. A “Grand” hotel calls for a bold, dramatic and exciting approach and we believe our new design meets the criteria perfectly, creating an unforgettable experience.”
