Hyatt Regency Denver awarded First Place as one of Denver’s Best Places to Work

(Denver, CO – Nov. 19, 2010)   Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center today received first place acknowledgement as one of Denver’s Best Places to Work – 2010 by the Denver Business Journal.  Four companies were selected; small, medium, large and mega, with Hyatt Regency Denver the winner in the large company category.  The award was the result of a 39 question anonymous survey completed by company employees that focused on ten different categories to include:  team effectiveness, alignment with goals, trust, individual contribution, management effectiveness, feeling valued, work engagement and more.  The employee survey gave each question a number value with the highest scores winning.  

The AAA Four-Diamond award winning Hyatt Regency Denver celebrates its fifth anniversary in December.   The 1,100 room property, with 60,600 square feet of meeting and event space, employs 529 full and part time staff members.  The company’s internal recognition programs for customer service and performance achievement help foster the professionalism of the staff fueled by the goal of delivering the best possible guest experience.  “Our staff works hard to continually and consistently deliver on the promise of exceeding the guest’s expectations,” said Ed Bucholtz, general manager.  “This award actually recognizes that effort on their part and we appreciate their dedication and commitment.”  Key Hyatt staff members were on hand to receive the award at a breakfast conducted by the Denver Business Journal on November 18th.
