Silent Auction to Benefit MS Society

(Denver, CO — May, 2011)   On June 9th, Grand Hyatt Denver will host a silent auction as part of Hyatt Hotels in Colorado’s continued commitment to the Bike MS 150 Colorado Ride. “Team Stay Fit at Hyatt”, the largest corporate team, returns for the twelfth consecutive year to bike the 150-mile, two-day trek along the Colorado front range.

The auction takes place from 5:00 PM to 7:30PM in the AAA Four-Diamond hotel’s Imperial Ballroom and admission is free.  More than 100 items with a total estimated value at over $35,000 are featured for bidding.  They include travel packages, primarily at other Hyatt Hotels, dining, spa treatments, surprise wine packages, sporting goods, fitness equipment such as an elliptical, cardio equipment and a recumbent bike, along with autographed sports memorabilia, to name a few.  The evening is complemented with a live auction for a few select offers, cash bar and complimentary hors d’oeuvres.  To preview the auction items, visit

About “Team Stay Fit at Hyatt”

With Grand Hyatt Denver general manager Greg Leonard at the helm, Hyatt Hotels in Colorado:  Grand Hyatt Denver Downtown, Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center, Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center and Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa, come together to support the “Team Stay Fit at Hyatt” for the June 25th Bike MS 150 Colorado Ride.  The group is comprised of 210 riders plus 60 volunteers, all Hyatt associates, family members and friends from across the United States.

Last year, the team raised $163,000 for the fight against multiple sclerosis.  That brought the cumulative total raised to more than $500,000 since the team’s inception in 2000, with an ambitious goal to reach $1 million raised by 2015.
